Escorted Ireland

cropped-GG-FBProfilePhoto.pngIn February of 1991, a friend and I took our first international trip without our parents. It was an adventure to remember and one of our stops was Ireland. We braved the “wrong-sided” roads and explored the southern area of the Emerald Isle. I must admit that while I enjoyed the trip, we should have taken a tour.

In October, I will return to Ireland and this time I plan to do it differently. I plan to enjoy the scenery, learn about the culture, history and geography of the country from a professional guide and relax into the laid back atmosphere that only Ireland can provide.

Will you join me?

I have pre-blocked 16 spaces on a tour in Southern Ireland. Not only with this tour be full of cultural and historical sites and sounds, it will be fully guided by a professional so that all of your questions can be answered. How many times have you been someplace and wondered about what you were seeing? On a guided tour, wonder no longer. Your guide is just steps away to answer it all. You won’t be tied to a group, however. Today’s modern tours offer plenty of free time to explore or just relax and soak up the culture on your own.

As your escort, I will add value to your journey. If you have a problem or a request, just come to me and I will work with the tour guide or hotel operator to make sure that you are comfortable and have your needs met.

Your vacation time is limited. A guided tour will help you get the most for your time and money. An escort will add to that value by taking care of the little details, so you don’t have to waste your time doing them.

Some of the highlighted events and venues that you will experience in Ireland are having the freedom to enjoy the scenery as you travel throughout the island. You won’t have to worry about the roads or getting lost. Sit back and let someone else do the driving.

Ride through history in a horse-drawn jaunting car through Killarney National Park, cross the Shannon River by ferry after viewing the spectacular cliffs of Moher. View the ancient Book of Kells in Dublin at Trinity College. Your trip wouldn’t be complete without the chance to kiss the Blarney stone or sample a Guinness. All these things and more are included in the price of your tour.

The dollar is strong against the Euro this year which makes this the perfect time to explore this unique Island of culture and rolling hills.

You will also receive all of your breakfasts with warm Irish soda bread and other hearty dishes to start your day off right. 4 dinners are included as well, one of which you will enjoy traditional Irish music at Jarvey’s Irish night. Your accommodations are superior and we will be staying at three properties for two nights each. This really gives you the opportunity to enjoy each destination before moving on. The tour is 8 nights and 9 days and will cost our group $3032 per person including airfare from Seattle. These prices are based on double occupancy. Single Supplement of an additional $500 is also available.
