My father was a pilot. I discovered fascinating regional differences when I traveled to see him, and this began my love for travel.
My early exposure to travel influenced my choice of undergraduate majors. I time-traveled through a history degree, underscoring my travel experiences with historical context. After graduating, I entered travel school. I spent three years in the travel industry, and then I took a sabbatical while raising my children.
I answered its call with family travel. I created vacations and adventures for friends and family. I kept my knowledge of the industry current and my experience in the wider world fresh. In 2013, I returned to my passion full-time.
First and foremost, you’ll travel knowing that I’m available to assist you during your journey. In addition:
I have cultivated a worldwide network of suppliers and continue to travel extensively, bolstering my knowledge of the destinations I offer while vetting vendors, guides, and escorts. In 2018, my husband accepted a position in London, which allowed me easy access to exploring the UK, Ireland, and Europe. We made the decision to return to the US in 2021 and now reside in Florida.
My affiliation with Montecito Village Travel provides me with perks and advantages unavailable to the general public through the Virtuoso Consortium. MVT offers extensive access to contemporary and luxury suppliers, worldwide on-sites, and corporate programs … the sky is the limit when it comes to resources for planning our client’s travel.
I am a proud Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), newly certified in 2018. I also am a Destination Specialist for Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Jamaica, Scotland and Italy and I’m always expanding my training and gaining new certifications. My newest certification is from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) in which I am a Verified Agent.
